An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 occurred in the Elmadağ district of Ankara at around 02:40 at night.
According to information obtained from data of the National Earthquake Monitoring Center of the Boğaziçi University Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute, the earthquake that occurred at around 02:40 took place near the Yeşildere Fatih Neighborhood, at a depth of 6.8 kilometers below the surface. While no loss of life or property occurred in the earthquake, it was learned that the tremor was also felt in central Ankara and its districts.
