In Samsun, a “Building Inspection and Energy Efficiency in Buildings Training Seminar” was held within the framework of the “Black Sea Basin Energy Efficiency in Buildings Plan”. The workshop, in which our Building Inspection and Earthquake Engineering President, Civil Engineer Mr Nazmi ŞAHİN, also participated as a speaker, was the “Building Inspection and Energy Efficiency in Buildings Workshop” organised in cooperation with the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality and the Samsun Union of Municipalities, and was held at the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Atakum Culture Centre. At the workshop, whose opening speech was delivered by Yusuf Sancak, Head of the Financial Affairs Division of the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, the following topics were addressed: Legislation on Building Inspection, Energy Efficiency in Buildings and the Relevant Legislation, Legislation on Building Inspection, Energy Efficiency in Buildings and the Relevant Legislation, Energy Efficiency in Buildings: Basic Principles, Energy Efficiency in Building Inspection: Problems Encountered in Practice, the Energy Efficiency Project Control Form and Explanatory Guide, and Urban Aesthetics Applications and Energy Efficiency in Building Inspection.
The workshop was attended by Coşkun Öncel, Secretary General of the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality; Deputy Secretaries General Zennube Albayrak and Sefer Arlı; Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation officials Murat Akınbingöl, Ferdi Keskin and Hüseyin Namık Sandıkçı; METU Faculty of Engineering Lecturer Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yakut; district municipality officials and building inspection firms.
