Building Inspection Law Symposium
As the Building Inspection and Earthquake Engineering Association, we held the “SYMPOSIUM ON THE LEGAL AND CRIMINAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF ENGINEERS AND ARCHITECTS IN BUILDING INSPECTION SERVICES DURING NATURAL DISASTERS” on 30.04.2025. With the participation of our distinguished and expert academics, our attorneys who are specialists and have built their careers in this field, and our esteemed speakers among whom were the Justices of the 7th Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation, a true feast of knowledge was held, addressing through a scientific approach the many problems experienced by building inspections and by our technically qualified architect and engineer stakeholders with regard to the laws, regulations and criminal responsibilities, and offering recommendations on the approach our guests and stakeholders should adopt toward the problems they face, considering both their positive and negative aspects. On this occasion, we extend our thanks first to our association members who contributed to the realization of the symposium, to our distinguished speakers for their talks and contributions, to our esteemed Chamber of Civil Engineers (İMO) branch for opening their doors to us and supporting this symposium, and to our valued participants who responded to our invitation throughout the day.
