The 2nd Civil Engineering Congress Organised by the Chamber of Civil Engineers

We attended the 2nd Civil Engineering Congress organised by the Chamber of Civil Engineers, with our President Nazmi Şahin, our Vice President Saffet Murat Kılıçer, our Ankara Branch President Murat Fidan, and our Board Member Cihan Aktaş. We shared our ideas and proposals regarding our sector. At the workshop, a total of 2,494 proposals relating to all the topics, together with their justifications, were discussed under 6 main headings; a total of 52 draft resolutions, formed of 52 articles distilled from the proposals submitted by the Workshops and the Forum, were discussed and voted on in line with the assessments and proposals of the delegates attending the Congress. All the problems of civil engineers and proposed solutions were voiced. It was a results-oriented congress. We thank all stakeholders who contributed, foremost the Chair of the IMO Board of Directors Nusret Suna and the board of directors, and our IMO Ankara Branch President Ahmet Onur Özergene, and we hope that the resolutions adopted will be of benefit to Civil Engineers.
