We visited the Chairman of the TBMM Committee on Public Works, Development, Transport and Tourism, Mr Adil Karaismailoğlu, in his office and held a meeting regarding our sector as the Building Inspection and Earthquake Engineering Association.
In our meeting;
The need to update the parts of the law and regulation in the building inspection system that have become deficient and inadequate over time,
The sectoral difficulties experienced in Organised Industrial Zones (OSBs) and, alongside building inspections, the financial losses incurred by the state as well,
The insufficiency of unit prices, the uncertainty of cost analyses, and the problems these create in the employment of technical personnel,
The matters of establishing a ground survey system as requested by our sector stakeholders,
The sharing of the comprehensive report we prepared following the 6 February Earthquake.
While personally conveying the problems of our sector, we stated that we are ready to provide every kind of technical support in the resolution processes.
